NEW YEAR LUNCH AT CAL PAUET

        

 

You are invited to join us for the annual lunch at CAL PAUET

on THURSDAY JANUARY 28th at 13:30 for 14:00

 

Cal Pauet is about 5km over the border in Spain, on the right hand side of the road to Civis.

 

The menu is short but substantial – and only suitable for carnivores (no fish or vegetarian options are offered). Orders for main courses will be taken as we sit down.

Those who joined us in previous years will recall some excellent dishes.

We shall be having:

 

Welcome copa de cava

Appetizers: Salad with sausage, meats, snails, pa amb tomaquet

First course: Mountain Paella, Canelloni, Trinxat and Macaronies

Main course: Chicken, Lamb, Rabbit, Wild Boar, Pig’s Trotters

Dessert: A selection of traditional Catalan desserts

Coffee

 

The price, including cava, water, wine and tip, is 21€ per member (26€ for non-members).

Visiting guests of members at €21.

Places for this popular event are limited, so book and pay early to secure your place.

Cash is preferred, as it reduces the admin workload.

so that the restaurant can be advised of numbers.

Directions to CAL PAUET (telephone 00 34 973 353 484, Sant Joan Fumat):

 

Exit Andorra through frontier on the Seu d’Urgell road;

turn right immediately after the border campsite – sign CIVIS;

cross the river and turn left – sign CIVIS;

follow the newly resurfaced road about 4.7 km;

pass the small village of Sant Joan Fumat off to the left;

Cal Pauet is then 200 metres on the right;

its car park is on the left just beyond – and is easier to spot than the sign outside the restaurant.
