From the British Honorary Consulate in Andorra we are pleased to announce that Miss Salome Bjelke Weis has joined the Consulate as the new Pro Consul, replacing Miss Alisa Vaughan and Mrs. Fiona Dean continues to be the British Honorary Consul. If you require consular services, our opening hours are from 09h00 to 13h00 from Monday to Friday and visiting hours are from 09h30 to 11h30 by appointment only. You can find us in Carrer Prat de la Creu, 87, 1st floor, Andorra la Vella. The telephone number of the Andorran Honorary Consulate is 86 20 80 and our website is www.ukinspain.fco.gov.uk Outside these hours and if a British National needs urgent help, please ring the British Consulate General in Barcelona on 00 34 933 666 200.

For any full UK Passport or Visa's enquiries please refer to our website www.ukinspain.fco.gov.uk These services are provided by the British Consulate and Embassy in Madrid, we can only provide the Passport application form in Andorra that can also be printed out from our website.

The British Honorary Consulate in Andorra can help British Nationals abroad with the following consular services: we can issue emergency replacement passports and cancel lost & stolen or deceased holder's passports, we can issue some notarial acts and other fee bearing services, we can provide information about transferring funds, provide appropriate help if you have suffered rape or serious assault, are a victim of other crime or are in hospital; help people with mental illness; provide details of local lawyers, interpreters, doctors and funeral directors, we can do all we properly can to contact you within 24 hours of being told that you have been detained; offer support and help in a range of other cases, such as child abductions, death of relatives overseas, missing people and kidnappings; contacting friends and family for you, if you want and make special arrangements in cases of terrorism, civil disturbances or natural disasters.

We cannot get you out of prison, prevent the local authorities from deporting you after your prison sentence, or interfere in criminal or civil court proceedings, help you enter a country if you don't have a valid visa or passport as we cannot interfere in another country's immigration policy or procedures; we cannot give you legal advice, investigate crimes or carry out searches for missing people, although we can give you details of people who may be able to help you in these cases, such as English-speaking lawyers; we cannot get you a treatment in the hospital or prison than is given to local people; pay any bills or give you money; make travel arrangements for you, or find you work or accommodation; or make business arrangements on your behalf.

Online Consular Registration- LOCATE

What is Consular Registration?

It is advisable for British nationals to register their presence with the British Consulate in the relevant country.

Why should you Register?

This allows us to keep in touch with British nationals when they are overseas

and provide consular assistance in the event of an emergency.

How to Register?

We have set up a new improved online registration service called LOCATE for British nationals travelling or living abroad to register themselves with the FCO.

British Nationals who are either resident in or visiting any country abroad, whether for business or pleasure, should register their details online. The registration details will remain on LOCATE. Details of your visits or residence abroad will not remain after their end date. LOCATE will accept details of travel abroad up to one year ahead.

We are confident that this new service will improve our ability to provide help in crisis situations and reduce delay and worry in times of stress for family and friends at home.
